Ontwerpdienste

As jy dit kan glo, is ontwerp (spesifiek handelsmerk) my onbedoelde lewensbelangstelling sedert ek 13 jaar oud was. Ná hoërskool het ek 'n oorbruggingsjaar geniet van werk, reis, huissit en oppas. Ek het toe van Niagara, Ontario na Vancouver, Brits-Columbië vir universiteit verhuis, en in 2013 gegradueer met 'n Grafiese Ontwerp-diploma van VCAD . Na nog 'n paar reis het ek teruggekeer na Ontario, my man ontmoet en my pad by verskeie ontwerpateljees opgewerk terwyl ek vryskut en pro bono aan die kant gedoen het. Ek verhuis in 2021 terug na Brits-Columbië en woon saam met my man en dogter in Prince George.

Deesdae word my tyd spandeer as 'n deeltydse tuisbly-ma, deeltydse afgeleë ontwerper + handelsmerkstrateeg vir 'n ontwerpateljee in Burlington, Ontario en deeltydse Freelance Creative. Oor die jare het ek natuurlik gevorder om my vryskutdienste te kombineer met my Bybelverwante kreatief, 'n Duisend elders. Nou leef dit alles onder een ouer mede.

Logo - GTA Mission Project

Logo - Sonrise New Directions Society

A recent Logo Design for Sonrise New Directions Society. The society operates a faith-based transition home and recovery facility for men recovering from substance abuse in Prince George, BC. Men are offered a safe, supportive environment and can further stabilize in order to successfully reintegrate into society.

The icon of the logo represents the salvific work of Jesus on the cross and new directions in the form of a minimal representation of a sunset and sunrise. The colour palette hints towards the yellow sunrise, orange sun rays and blue sky.

Brand - Messiah Church

In progress from October 2021 to May 2023, with ongoing projects still in the works.

The word Messiah is an ancient Hebrew word that means 'God's Anointed One'. It has the same meaning as the Greek word 'Christos', from where we get the word Christ. Jesus is the Messiah, God's Anointed One.

The icon of the logo represents the salvific work of Jesus, our anointed Messiah, in the form of the cross and a minimal representation of an oil drop, with a slight nod to the refiner’s fire flame. The colour palette also hints towards the anointing oil and refiner’s fire with a golden yellow and burnt charcoal palette.
