Si vous pouvez le croire, le design (en particulier l'image de marque) est mon intérêt involontaire depuis l'âge de 13 ans. Après le lycée, j'ai apprécié une année sabbatique de travail, de voyages, de garde de maison et de nounou. J'ai ensuite déménagé de Niagara, en Ontario, à Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique pour le collège, obtenant en 2013 un diplôme en design graphique de VCAD . Après quelques voyages supplémentaires, je suis retournée en Ontario, j'ai rencontré mon mari actuel et j'ai gravi les échelons dans divers studios de design tout en travaillant à la pige et à titre bénévole. De retour en Colombie-Britannique en 2021, je vis avec mon mari et ma fille à Prince George.

Ces jours-ci, je passe mon temps en tant que mère au foyer à temps partiel, designer à distance à temps partiel + stratège de marque pour un studio de design à Burlington, en Ontario, et créatrice indépendante à temps partiel. Au fil des ans, j'ai naturellement progressé en combinant mes services indépendants avec ma création liée à la Bible, A Thousand Elsewhere. Maintenant, tout vit sous un seul parent co.

Une poursuite créative variée et centrée sur l'évangile.

Au cours des années de travail indépendant et pro bono, j'ai travaillé avec des organisations, des églises, des organisations à but non lucratif et des particuliers. Faites défiler vers le bas pour voir quelques-uns des derniers projets de conception auxquels j'ai eu le privilège de participer.

Logo - GTA Mission Project

Logo - Sonrise New Directions Society

A recent Logo Design for Sonrise New Directions Society. The society operates a faith-based transition home and recovery facility for men recovering from substance abuse in Prince George, BC. Men are offered a safe, supportive environment and can further stabilize in order to successfully reintegrate into society.

The icon of the logo represents the salvific work of Jesus on the cross and new directions in the form of a minimal representation of a sunset and sunrise. The colour palette hints towards the yellow sunrise, orange sun rays and blue sky.

Brand - Messiah Church

In progress from October 2021 to May 2023, with ongoing projects still in the works.

The word Messiah is an ancient Hebrew word that means 'God's Anointed One'. It has the same meaning as the Greek word 'Christos', from where we get the word Christ. Jesus is the Messiah, God's Anointed One.

The icon of the logo represents the salvific work of Jesus, our anointed Messiah, in the form of the cross and a minimal representation of an oil drop, with a slight nod to the refiner’s fire flame. The colour palette also hints towards the anointing oil and refiner’s fire with a golden yellow and burnt charcoal palette.
